Object Description

Susanna, nude except for slight drapery, sits on the edge of a pool, both arms extended to left of painting. Beside her are two metal pitchers. Behind her stand two men. One, at right of picture, looks toward her, his left hand on her hip, right raised to his chest level. He has dark hair and short beard, wears white open collar, brown long sleeved garment, and red mantle over right shoulder. The other man has left hand raised with finger to his mouth. He wears white open collar, blue garment with gold trim. He has blond hair, no beard. To left is a statue of Cupid or child on a dolphin [?], and foliage.
