Taking of Belgrade from the Turks. The medal was issued as part of the large series commemorating contemporary history by Friedrich Kleinert and his associates L. G. and C. G. Lauffer in Nuremberg. Hautsch and several other medalists, including G. W. Vestner and Werner, contributed to the series, which was published in 1742 (C. G. Lauffer, Das Laufferische Medaillen-Cabinet, Nuernberg).
