The Church of Santa Giustina at Padua was begun in 1505 and soon given up; after the rejection of new de- signs in 1515 and 1516 it was begun again in 1521 and finished in 1532. Santa Giustina, virgin and martyr, is the patron saint of Padua; San Prosdocimus was its first bishop.
