Léon-Paul Fargue was a French symbolist poet. His book Banalité (Banality) is illustrated by surrealist photographer Roger Parry, who included images of eerie interiors and strange street scenes, as well as nearly abstract photograms which he created with his friend, the actor Fabien Loris.
