Rev. Paris leaning on pedestal holding staff with Phrygian cap. Around, ETABLISSEMENT DE LA MAIRIE DE PARIS * ; left center, DUPRE F . ; in exergue, J. SILVAIN BAILLY PREMIER MAIRE | ELULE 15 JUILLET | 1789 .
Bronze, struck, 53 mm.

Dupre had also engraved a head of the king to serve as the obverse of this medal, but the die was not used and the medal was struck with an obverse by Duvivier.
