17th century Dutch painter, draftsman, and printmaker
(Woerden (near Utrecht), ca. 1600 - 1665)

Was active in Paris by 1623 and Rome 1629-1638, where he studied with the French landscape painter, Calude Lorrain; settled in Paris in 1640's.
