Dirk (or Dierick) Jacobsz. Vellert (c. 1480-after 1547) was a leading glass designer and painter in Antwerp; in addition he was active as a printmaker. Vellert was visited several times by the great German printmaker Albrecht Durer during Durer's stay in Antwerp in 1520/21.
