The engraving is loosely laid in a volume of the same title, published in 1970. The title page states further “Together with a print of the event taken from the plate engraved by Paul Revere, the report from the Boston Gazette, and a note by Dr. Richard Hale. Imprint Society, Barre, Massachusetts, 1970.” The plate, owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and housed in the Archives Museum of the State House in Boston. An edition of 1,950 copies was printed from the original plate by Anderson-Lamb of Brooklyn; the book was designed and printed by the press of David R. Godine of Brookline. This is copy 908.
