Object Description

Total of 3 prints, of the same plate size, depicting buildings near The Battery, lower Manhattan, New York. In foreground, people on a small stone quay (the Rum Dock) and trees of Battery Park or Bowling Green.
Two matted prints are signed and dated within print: Pach 1927; in pencil, Proof before steelfacing Walter Pach 1927; one also has title written in pencil.
One loose print is unnumbered and unsigned proof (no date / name within plate)

Note that this etching (and other prints by Walter Pach) is in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, a gift in 1928.
