Bronze, 55 mm.

The version noted in Venuti is signed AMB. B, suggesting that the medal may be by Ambrosius Bosio, a medalist noted in Rome to 1610, who may be the Bosio whom Forrer (i, p. 227) dates in the second half of the sixteenth century. Bulgari (i, p. 200) records a Giovanni Bosio active as silversmith in Rome from 1622 until his death in 1628.
