Giancarlo Susini in his article on Biancani in Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani (10, pp. 35-36) notes that Biancani's appearance was recorded in a medal engraved by his son-in-law Giudo Zanetti (see no. 173). However, Fantuzzi (see no. 173; Vol. 8, 1790, p. 104) says the medal was merely commissioned by Zanetti : ". . . havvi pure di esso una medaglia di metallo fatto fondere dal suo genero, Guido Zanetti."
