Object Description

Standing form with wide body, carved facial features, and up-turned tail as spout. Ieddish brown glaze. Circa 100BC-300AD, or later. . Usually, these dogs were buried in their masters' tombs. Ceramic effigies of these animals have been produced in Colima for a staggering 2000 years.
