Object Description

384 Series: EVENTS FROM THE LIFE OF CHRIST
B. THE ADORATION OF THE MAGI
At the right in front of the stable sit Mary, with the Christ Child on her lap, and Joseph, leaning on his staff. In front of the Holy Family, the three Magi with elaborate vessels. One, kneeling in the center, holds his gift out to the Child; the others stand at right and left. At right, a dog; at upper left, the Star of Bethlehem. Narrow border on left side.

Bronze, 94 x 71 mm. Below, two seals in the cast.
