Object Description

412 Series: THE SAINTS
E. SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI
The saint, depicted three-quarter length, stands behind rocks with arms crossed on his breast, praying before a crucifix on rocks at left. He has a pointed beard and wears a monk's habit, with bare head. At the foot of the cross, a skull, an open book and a scourge.

Bronze, 100 x 71 mm. Molded border with ring at top.
