Subject: Do Lord Remember Me

Dear Laura,

It was a pleasure to meet you.  I have looked up Ashley's print and apparently it is an illustration from his "I'm Going to Sing:  Black American Spirituals".  I checked with the Bryan Foundation/Nick and he said it is most likely from the 1982 edition since I have had it for around twenty years.

The credit should read, "Gift of Jennifer R. Gross in recognition of Katy Kline, Bowdoin College Museum Director, 1998-2008"

Enjoy your weekend Laura!
