Object Description

Per Donor, Laura Sprague: Circular molded plate with scalloped and beaded rim and shallow well. Decorated with overall transfer-printing in the neoclassical style. Central medallion of two female figures (Muses) with lyre and circular canvas or drum, a putto, and winged horse. Medallion enclosed in circular floral wreath. Border printer wih acanthus leaves alternating with scrolls.
