Object Description

Per Registrar, Laura J. Latman
Information shared by donor at time of gift was a schedule of Properties with the following details in conjunction with the donor’s appraisal by Jo Desmond, 5/29/2018 and noted:

Wood netsuke, carved mask depicting a fierce-looking head of a shishi. Masks of this type used in lion dances at New Years celebrations. The back side of the netsuke reveals the face of an angry performer.
