Obv. Religion, holding chalice, kneels before a decorated column inscribed STA | TVA | PA | CIS mounted on a base inscribed in front . V . D . M . I . . (Verbum Dominae manet in aeternum) and on right side IH. Atop the column the Eye of God, with inscription RELIGIO. Above, the divine eye surrounded by clouds and rays; above, PERVIGILI | UM DEI. In the background the city of Danzig. Around, IN VERA VITAM NOS RELLIGIONE PER OMNEM CEU PUPILLAM OCULI PROTEGE CHRISTE TUI | CUSTODI ME UT PUPILLAM OCULI . PS . 17
