384 Series: EVENTS FROM THE LIFE OF CHRIST
E. CROWNING WITH THORNS
A man holding staves presses the crown of thorns onto the head of Christ, who sits on a pedestal facing half right. Four other men mock him. In the left foreground on the floor are a whip, rod, cane, and cloak; at the right a dog. Above, a curtain and an hourglass on the wall. Narrow borders.

Bronze, 98 x 75 mm. Two hallmarks at bottom.
