Object Description

410 MAN OF SORROWS
Christ in a loincloth is depicted in a frontal, three-quarter length pose with head bowed to the left. His hands are bound with a rope passed around his neck. Against his left arm is the mock scepter. Molded border with ring at top.

Bronze, traces of gilt and polychromy, 102 x 71 mm.
