Object Description

369 ASCENSION OF CHRIST
Christ, frontal, with halo, and arms extended at his waist, encircled by a ring of clouds, floats above a small mound on top of which are two footprints. He is flanked by two male figures who look up at him with arms extended toward center. Beaded and molded frame. Above, Phoenix in flames.

Bronze, 134 x 88 mm. Reverse fixtures indicate former use as a pax.

Location and date are uncertain.
