Object Description

A Venetian scene depicting the place where two canals join, a bridge -- the Ponte Tolentini extends over one of the canals. Figures stand on the bridge and lean over the railing and gondolas float below. On the right is a barge docked on the quay in front of a corner shop that has a sign above its entrance displaying the words "Fondamenta dei Tolentini".
