Object Description

Painting depicts the figure of a woman half-clad in a red drapery with necklace around her neck and an elaborate braided and jeweled hairstyle. In her right hand she holds up a bloodies sword and in left hand the head of a bearded man. In the upper right corner is another figure gazing out. Judith is glancing to her right. Colors are dark reds and greens. Flesh tones are modeled with greys. Dark overall appearance.
