Giovanni Maria Pomedelli

(Villafranca, 1478-9 - 1537 or later)

Born at Villafranca and active in Verona, Pomedelli was a goldsmith, painter and engraver as well as a medalist. His mark consists of an apple overlaid with his first name, ZVAN, and flanked by a punch and graver. His earliest dated medal is of 1519.
