Cristoforo Di Geremia

(before 1456 - after 1476)

Mantuan, goldsmith, medalist and metal worker. He arrived in Rome in 1456 and by 1461 was in the service of Cardinal Scarampi. In 1465 he entered the service of Pope Paul II, of whom he made many medals. In 1468 he restored the bronze statue of Marcus Aurelius.
