Jacopo Tatti (Sansovino)
(1486 - 1570)
A major sculptor and architect of the sixteenth century, Jacopo took the name of his master Andrea Sansovino. He was active in Rome until the Sack in 1527, when he moved to Venice, becoming the major sculptor there in the middle of the century.
