Georg Hautsch
(1664 - 1736)
Medalist and coin engraver from Nuremberg, a student of J. J. Wolrab. Hautsch was active at the mint in Nuremberg from 1683-1712, replacing Hermann Haffner as assistant engraver in 1691. He moved to Vienna in 1712 and worked there until his death.
