Giovanni Battista Pozzo

(Bergamo, ca. 1670 - 1752)

Born in Bergamo, Pozzo was in Rome from 1697, when he was probably a student of Ottone Hamerani. An ivory carver and medalist, he imitated the style of contemporary Florentine portraits.
