Jean Le Blanc

(ca. 1676 - 1749)

A goldsmith, medalist and coin engraver, Le Blanc won the Rome Prize in 1704 and studied in Italy for several years. From 1715 to his death he worked in Paris at the Monnaie des Medailles du Roi.
