Antoine Bovy

18th-19th century French sculptor and medalist
(Geneva, December 14, 1795 - 1877, Switzerland)

Member of a celebrated Geneva family of medalists, Bovy studied in Geneva and in Paris under Pradier. In order to compete for the French coinage, Bovy became a French citizen in 1835.
