NY Times Obituary - Paul Diamond of Brooklyn, New York, born June 20, 1942, passed away on August 16, 2017 at the age of 75. As a photographer, Paul became a Guggenheim Fellow in 1975. Paul's work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington D.C. and the Chicago Art Institute among other museums. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1965 and Purdue University in 1980 with a Master of Arts in Photography. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Irma (Smith) and Harry Diamond and sister Roseanne. He is survived by his daughter Brooklyn Diamond Schnarr, son-in-law Nick Schnarr, and three grandchildren Sophie Diamond, Lillian, and Charles Schnarr. Along with his parents, Paul donated his body to the Columbia Medical School in New York City.
