Rev. Aurora, in a chariot drawn by a winged horse, holds a torch and scatters flowers. Around, VIRTVTIS FORAEMQ PRAEVIA

The obverse portrait derives from a Leone Leoni prototype of the year before. Ippolita married Fabrizio Colonna (died 1551) in 1548 and Antonio Caraffa in 1554.
